George has been slinging drinks at Whitey's Oldtown Saloon for years... and now he's in one. He's survived closing time, jazz nights, and the full spectrum of humanity that wanders down Hennepin Ave. But apparently none of that prepared him for the rotator cuff situation we are not legally required to call a bear wrestling incident — and yet here we are.
He's laid up. He can't work. And the Twin Cities comedy scene isn't about to let that slide. Whitey's won't as well so all tickets come (for those of age) with a complementary shot of Polish (aka black berry brandy).
On March 22nd, some of the funniest people in Minneapolis are coming together at Whitey's to do what comedians do best: make a room full of people laugh until they hand over their money. All of it goes to George while he heals up and figures out how to reach the top shelf again.
Come drink at the bar George can't currently tend. Laugh at jokes he definitely won't find funny. And help a guy who's poured your drinks, heard your problems, and kept his mouth shut about all of it.
Comics are donating their time, so 100% of the base price is going to George.
