Raised in Cedar Riverside the Comedy Corner Underground is an artist-run room in NE Minneapolis. 20+ years of pretty ok-ish comedy, just now with nicer floors. We're located inside of Whitey's Old Town Saloon in amazing NE Minneapolis. Shows Thursday - Saturday. Mics Thursday and Friday. 8pm shows are 18+ (some exceptions for teens with their guardians who are super cool with swears), anything starting after 9pm is 21+.

Ira Ford is a Minneapolis-based stand-up comedian, producer, and lyricist known for his candid "open book" storytelling. Originally from Maryland, Ford draws from his life as a father and dreamer to deliver sharp, relatable observations on the human experience.
In 2025, he reached a career milestone with the release of his debut comedy special, Rantings of a Sane Man. Beyond the stage, Ford is a vital pillar of the Twin Cities comedy community, serving as a regular emcee at the Acme Comedy Company and producing hit showcases like "Laughs and Legends" and "The Bong Show." A dedicated mentor and curator, he uses his platform to amplify underrepresented Black voices in the Midwest comedy scene.
