Raised in Cedar Riverside the Comedy Corner Underground is an artist-run room in NE Minneapolis. 20+ years of pretty ok-ish comedy, just now with nicer floors. We're located inside of Whitey's Old Town Saloon in amazing NE Minneapolis. Shows Thursday - Saturday. Mics Thursday and Friday. 8pm shows are 18+ (some exceptions for teens with their guardians who are super cool with swears), anything starting after 9pm is 21+.

Will Abeles is a nationally touring comedian, producer and podcaster based out of Nashville, TN. A tried and true road dog known for his intricate but hilarious stories based on real life encounters and mishaps, Will captured the #1 spot on the iTunes Comedy Charts twice with back to back albums; his 2017 debut album “Regrets of My Father” and his most recent release “The Pride of Hagerstown.” His special of the same name “The Pride of Hagerstown,” is out now on YouTube through FourbyThree Productions.
Having put in close to a decade in New York, Will moved to Nashville from Brooklyn in January of 2021 and by October of the same year was voted the third best comedian in Nashville behind Nate Bargatze. More recently, he sat on panel for the wildly popular Ask a Fuckboy during San Francisco Sketchfest and has featured on “Are You Okay?” and “Crosswalk Crush” for NowThis. A comedian on the rise, this past year Will’s opened for Rory Scovel, Beth Stelling, Katherine Blanford, Billy Wayne Davis, Jourdain Fisher, Ben Roy, Caitlin Peluffo, Learnmore Jonasi, Adam Mamawala, Monica Nevi and Stewart Huff in clubs and theatres across the country.
In 2025, Will featured in the Columbus Comedy Festival and so far in 2026 has been accepted into the San Francisco Sketchfest (January 2026), Treefort Music Festival in Boise and the Nashville Comedy Festival. His limited series travel/sobriety/comedy podcast Wilaker: A Journeyer's Podcast is streaming everywhere now.
